What is Chargeguard?




Chargeguard is a solution specialized in chargeback recovery for Amazon suppliers selling on the Amazon Retail platform.. Its primary objective is to help sellers recover funds lost due to the refunds, offsets, chargebacks, Co-Op expenses and/or cancellations of Purchase Orders. It is responsible for handling and filing the necessary claims to ensure that sellers are properly reimbursed for the losses incurred. As you can imagine, it focuses on the same problem that Getida y Sellers Investigators, but for Amazon Vendors within Amazon Retail or Amazon 1P.

My clients often ask me if this service is only for large Vendors. It is not. From every 1P account you can recover some money. In my case, I have taken out recovery audits from €1,000 up to €450,000.

Obviously, the larger the account, the more Marketplaces it touches (more countries, of course) and the more units it moves, the greater the recovery of surcharges. Normally this cost recovery is between 1% and 5% of the total turnover of the account, so if you have a GMV of 1M€, you can probably recover between 10,000€ and 50,000€.
